Welcome to the DJ Advisory Network for Content Evaluation
(D.A.N.C.E.)
We
take the guess work out of knowing what songs are appropriate
for play at school functions and events. We know that
many teachers, administrators and DJs may not know what
songs have questionable content in them and that is why
we have created a FREE tool for you to use around K-12
students. This tool is called the "No-Play List."
Each month, the DJ Advisory Network comes together to
review new music being released and rates each new song
based on Language, Sexual Content and Violence. If the
song is too dirty, it gets added to our No-Play List.
You
can view and print the list right here from our website
and start using it today. You can also subscribe to the
list for free! We'll send you an e-mail each month after
the list is updated. We encourage you to talk to your school
dance DJ companies about using this list and start sharing
it with Cheerleading and Pom Pon coaches as well.
Of the hundreds of new songs released each month, on average,
five or six of them are added to the No-Play List. We
are not preventing great new music from being played in
schools,
we are simply providing a list of the few new songs that
have too much sexual content, bad language, or violence
to be played in a K-12 school setting. |
